Please note that in order to have a valid warranty in Europe or Eastern Europe, the products must be purchased from either Baader Planetarium or one of Baader’s authorized dealers. If a product is purchased in the United States for a European sale, then the warranty on the product is void.

Terms and Conditions
Payment Method
All orders require 50% down payment. The balance of the payment is due prior to shipment. We do accept educational and corporate purchase orders. For the final payment, personal checks need to clear before the product is shipped.
Cancellation
If an order is cancelled, please submit the cancellation in writing. There is a 2.5% cancellation charge that will be deducted from the deposit. The refund will be sent within 30 days of receiving the cancellation notice.
Delivery
The delivery time is 3 to 4 months from the date of deposit. All items are shipped FOB Origin. Shipping can be arranged by the Buyer or can be arranged by PlaneWave Instruments.
PlaneWave Instruments Warranty
To have an active PlaneWave Instruments Warranty, PlaneWave must have the customer’s address and contact information. Note that sales for Europe and Eastern Europe must be purchased through Baader-Planetarium or one of Baader’s authorized dealers. Baader Planetarium carries the Warranty for PlaneWave products in Europe and Eastern Europe. Neither PlaneWave nor Baader Planetarium will warranty products purchased in the US then shipped to Europe. In that event, the product will not be covered by a warranty.
PlaneWave warrants your telescope to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one year for coatings and two years mechanics and electronics. If a product is sent in for warranty, the customer will pay for the shipping to PlaneWave. PlaneWave will inspect and determine if the product is defective in either workmanship or materials. If the returned product is determined to be covered by warranty, PlaneWave will repair or replace all or part of the product and will reimburse the customer for the shipping charge.
Items sold by PlaneWave made by another manufacturer are warranteed by that manufacturer.
Before returning any products to PlaneWave, you must obtain a return authorization number. Call PlaneWave at (310) 787-9411 to receive the return authorization number to be displayed on the outside of your shipping container.
